In honor of all the weddings coming up, Frugal Friday, and crafty people all around...

This antique frame (LOVE the chipping paint and the color)

houses a smörgåsbord of wedding memories.

It's just a ribbon down the middle with miscellaneous wedding trinkets including our program, engagement photos, a beautiful picture of my mom, my cousin and me laughing while picking out the dress, one of the corsages, and my favorite which is little snippets of all of the ribbons that were used at the wedding.

A great little memory from a great big day.

Craft Room Edition

Ok, I'm starting a new thing called a-ROOM-a-therapy. Basically I find pure joy out of looking through Ikea and Pottery Barn catalogs and stealing their ideas for my own home. Unfortunately, not only do I not have enough room to add anything in my house (I am constantly reminded of this by my cousin), but I also don't have the funds to buy everything my little heart desires in those previously mentioned magazines.

Hence, a-ROOM-a-therapy.

I just love this workspace! From the scissors hanging on the door (you can never have enough of them) to the cute, antique metal baskets to an actual place to store all that wrapping paper... this room is divine! The color on the walls is just so relaxing and makes me want to spend hours on end crafting my heart away in this sweet space.

Recently I have been suffering from crafting ADD.

Hence the pillow, monogram soda cans, necklaces and now soap.

This week I made

lavender and organic green tea soap with shea butter

while watching New In Town.

The movie was so cute and just nice and clean. I totally recommend it... and the soap :)

**if you can think of a cute name for the soap i'd love to hear it!**

PS- My wonderful husband came home from a hard day at work only to be greeted by me,

with soap in hand, and an anxious request for him to try out this girlie soap and give me his opinion.

Like I said, he is wonderful and so, in his words, the soap was

"nice and scrubby and smelled spa-ish." Thanks sweetie!

Kelly's Cute Pillow!

In case you are wondering, YES, I love monogrammed things!

I told my friend Kelly that I would make her ring bearer pillow

for her and her almost husband's wedding so here is the result...

All handmade... even the fancy edging (I'm sure it has an actual name) that I am VERY proud of!

(Also, there is a white on white paisley print that you have to click on the pic and then look closely.)

Even if it doesn't get carried down the isle,

it will still look super cute on their bed!
